The new variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has once again sounded the alarm on healthcare systems worldwide and caused concern in some countries. This been identified South Africa initially called B.1.1.529 later renamed Omicron by WHO. transmissibility immune evasion (B.1.1.529) is higher than previous variants. Compared to dominant variant, which was Delta a very high transmission power but luckily, Omicron's symptoms are less serious. According WHO, potential re-infect people who already have other variants SARS-CoV-2. contains at least 32 mutations spike protein also proteins that required for viral replication it twice size delta variant. Half this occur area virus through they bind cells human body cause infection. likely developed one person during chronic infection with an system deficiency (possibly untreated HIV/AIDS). It possible injecting booster dose existing vaccines subsequently increasing antibody levels will provide adequate protection appropriate barrier against Omicron. purpose article evaluate compare SARS-CoV-2 effect preventing disease progression.
